Pilot Named Technicolor’s Logistics Provider of the Year
Technicolor, a long-term customer based in Memphis, recently named Pilot its 2018 Logistics Provider of the Year. Pilot’s Ray Skinner (MEM), Debbie Hughes (MEM) and Ben Pohopek (corporate) were on hand at the company’s Global Carrier Summit to accept the award. A 3PL for major motion picture studios, Technicolor mainly utilizes Pilot to handle time-specific deliveries of DVD displays to big-box retailers, and Pilot played a major role in Technicolor’s critical fourth-quarter deliveries. Staff within Technicolor’s supply chain voted to award Pilot the Logistics Provider of the Year based on the following criteria: on-time service; communication and proactive tracking; billing accuracy; and proof of delivery.
